Ear & Drum: Session 312 – Roll Call

I’m officially declaring this month Rolltober, as the amount of tasty rollers to drop has been ridiculous. Kicking things off is the very Intalex sounding Trippy Troppy from Need for Mirrors on Soul in Motion. Japanese/Australian producer FONTS killed it with his Binary Vol.30 EP release on Critical Music featuring the huge Patience and Answers.

Loxy dropped X 001, the first LP of his in a looong time and it was so worth the wait. 40 Below and Sentry X were the stand outs for me. Vandal Records’ colab with Flexout, imaginatively called Vandal X Flexout had a bunch of great rollers including Rido & KRÄX – It’s Allright, Harley D & Kublai – The Way, Zero T & DLR – Dichotomy and Revan, Sydney Bryce & Broma – Midnight’s Fading. And shouts out to Gridlok for his first LP in years, Symptoms of the Chaos Mind from which I’ve nabbed Stompbox for this mix.
