Ear & Drum Session 166: Altitude

One last mix for the decade before we dive head-first into the 20s.

It really doesn’t seem that long ago that Photek’s ‘Into the 90s’ was released, so to be here 30 years later is pretty crazy. Thank you to everyone who has listened in at the Ear & Drum during the past 10 years and here’s hoping the next 10 years (or even just the next) treats you better than the last.

If I could wish for anything in the new year it is for people to do more listening. Not just to music, but in general. I think the last decade has been dedicated to the self absorbed masses shouting out there opinions without giving anyone else’s opinion a second thought. You can’t form a proper opinion without listening to the other side of the argument, so sit down, shut up and just listen.

Here is to less shouting and more listening in 2020.

That Luba to Holy Moly mix is the most incredible thing I’ve ever heard…

But seriously, most of my job consists of looking out of the window of planes, and I always have a few of your mixes queued up to lose myself in the sound and the world.

    Keep it up

    Haha cheers Matt.

Holy Moly is definitely up there in my top 10 for last year. That intro almost mixes itself.

Glad I can provide some soundtrack to your traveling life.
