Down Stream – Ear & Drum Session 148

Get a little Liquid into your life this weekend with a mix of new tunes from across the globe.

First up we have Why We Are Here from Sunchase, an artist who dropped off the map in the last few years. This guy knows how to roll and I am so glad he has come back with some killer new material. Other notables are Calibre, one of the best remixers in the scene today, putting his spin on the music of Blu Mar Ten and SpectrSoul. Plus new tunes from Atlantic Connection, 1991 & Matt Wilson and the recently departed Marcus Intalex. You may have left us, but your music lives on.

A special shout goes out to Logisitics and his track The Light Without which has THE best vocal hook I’ve heard in a D&B tune this year.

  1. great selection of tunes but the mixing is poor to say the least! bass all over the place and off key :/ got sent here by someone on DOA hahahah wont be taking their advice again

  2. Sorry it’s not to you taste, but in terms of things being off key I mix all my stuff using key matching. So it would be nigh on impossible for these tunes to be off key.
